Would you be interested in securely disposing of your old hard drives, cell phones, PDAs in a way that NO ONE would be able to ever get the information off them, ever? I am talking with a company that has invested in essentially a mobile hard drive/wood chipping system that can shred your old data devices.
If you’re not technical and just want to get rid of a computer with the hard drive in it, for a little bit more money, they will take the hard drive out of the machine themselves, shred it, and recycle the rest of the computer equipment. Raise your hand if this is of interest to you.
I think for $25 per device, it would be worth it. We are thinking of having an event in the Dunwoody area soon and I will communicate via my email, Facebook and twitter as it gets closer to fruition.
