One of the best ways to save money with your computer guy, regardless of whether you have a PC or a Mac, is *know* your passwords. Setting up computers is much more difficult and expensive if the computer guy has to try and figure out or reset your wireless network password and/or your email passwords! And yes, you all have email passwords.
I often get the “I don’t type in a password for my email” response when I am setting up their email program on a new computer. I also get the INSERT SON’S NAME HERE “just got an Xbox 360 Live. When you were here 3 ½ years ago, you set us up on wireless and handed me the passwords. I can’t find the sheet. What is it?”
